ZTL Map (“the App”) is an iOS application that helps drivers navigate Italian Zona a Traffico Limitato (ZTL) restricted zones. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
2a. Location Data On-device only
The App requests access to your device’s GPS location. This data is used on-device to centre the map and detect nearby ZTL zones. Place search and route planning may use Apple Maps services. We do not transmit your precise location to our own servers.
2b. ZTL Zone Data
The App fetches ZTL zone polygons from our server
(tradingpalapp.com/ztl/api/v1). These requests contain no
personal information — only a version timestamp used for cache invalidation.
2c. Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. We receive only the transaction information needed to unlock your purchase. We do not store payment card numbers, Apple IDs, or any billing details.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. ZTL zone data cached on your device can be cleared by deleting the App.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If you are in the EU/EEA you have rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data. Since we do not process personal data beyond what Apple handles on your behalf, requests should be directed to Apple for purchase-related data. For anything else, contact us below.
